Bachata Foundations·4-Week Series

Sundays, 1:00 PM–2:00 PM (Sep 20–Oct 11)·📍 Dance Life Studio and Fitness

This class is an introduction to Bachata as a genre. You will spend time learning the structure of Bachata music and key concepts of partner dancing. We will go over basic steps, connection, fun footwork, and tips to interpret musical flow throughout a song. If you’re a beginner to Bachata or if you would like to learn more about musicality, this class will be a great fit for you!

Quick Note — These classes follow a progressive curriculum, so I'm unable to adjust content or otherwise accommodate dancers who missed previous classes in a series. If you've missed multiple classes, you're welcome to contact me about private lessons!

Bachata Sensual Focus·4-Week Series

Sundays, 2:00 PM–3:00 PM (Sep 20–Oct 11)·📍 Dance Life Studio and Fitness

In this class, you will learn fundamental concepts of Bachata Sensual body movement and how to safely apply them to your dancing. This includes the wave, chest and hip isolations, and partner connection in different positions. We will focus on technique and execution rather than a series of patterns. This is a fast-paced series with challenging material every week.
